- 500g (1 lb) fresh green beans trimmed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste

- 2 tbsp olive oil or unsalted butter
- 2 anchovy fillets (or 1 tsp anchovy paste)
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ cup breadcrumbs (panko works well)
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

1. Prepare the Green Beans:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the green beans and cook for 2-3 minutes until they are just tender but still crisp.

2. Make the Anchovy Garlic Crumb:
- Heat the olive oil (or butter) in a skillet over medium heat
- Add the anchovy fillets and stir until they dissolve into the oil
