  • 500g (1 lb) fresh green beans trimmed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt  to taste

  • 2 anchovy fillets (or 1 tsp anchovy paste)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (panko works well)
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

1. Prepare the Green Beans:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the green beans and cook for 2-3 minutes until they are just tender but still crisp.

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat
  2. Add the green beans and sauté for 2-3 minutes until lightly blistered and warmed through. Season with a pinch of salt

4. Combine and Serve:
